Back in 2012 November 2012 I tried to design a new character each day for a month…
I failed, but I did create some funny looking people.
I drew a lot when I was in High School…
Then when I went out in to the big boy world I stopped.
Many years later I would find myself married with a wonderful wife and a new baby girl, at about this time I started to discover some amazing artist online (Raina Telgemeier, Kazu Kibuishi, Jay Marcy and Many others…) doing Auto-bio and other webcomic projects.
They inspired me to create again… One of the first things I did back then was to take part in something called Hourly Comic Day. Where once an hour you would create a comic of something from your previous hour. Just recently I re-found the forum page that I had posted mine on…
Happy Friday the 13th!
I am trying to post at least once per day. Today…
Don’t really have anything so we are going to do a throw back.
I am trying to keep my posts to the general end of the world theme…
This is a piece of art I did way back when I first started drawing again. It is a sketch card of my favorite Jack Kirby comic. Kamandi #1.
Doing a drawing of the Death Star from Star Wars : A New Hope.
This is just a little side project I am doing for fun.
Having some problems with my hands… and a lot of more important work to do then sketching for fun right now… so for the next few days just raw art, no coloring… I will go back and color when things fall back into place.
I have a lot I need to get done today so I did up this fast selfie while I was volunteering at Church this morning.
(My daughter asked me to hold her hat this morning so I put it on and wore it all morning…)
GODFATHER III is a decent flick.
