The Last Hometown – Spiders update2

20 pages officially inked and ready to go.

That is ten weeks worth of posts.

I have decided that I am going to launch the comic on September 10th (my birthday)

Between now and then I will be working on improving the look of the website as well as getting the last pages inked so that I can get a floppy version to sell at cons this fall printed!

I have to tell you, creating again and working on this has really done wonders to lift my mood and has me feeling good about myself again. Thus in turn making me want to create more!!!

The Last Hometown – Spiders

The first Last Hometown story is well underway. As of this morning I have 30 pages penciled and half of that inked out (Which means there is a good chance that I will have a hardcopy printed in time for FALLCON!). I want to get to at least 20 pages inked before I start posting the webcomic. I will be updating the comic twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. On top of that I have joined a blogging group called the Pop Culture League. Once a week we will be choosing a theme and posting updates based on that.

The baby is no longer a baby, and I am finding myself with free time again. To celebrate this I am going to really try to be breathing some life back into this place!!!!

Website Goals

  1. Work on layout and design to get away from template standard.
  2. Set-up daily posting schedule.
  3. Figure out how to work web-comic interface so I can start posting comic.
  4. Create Blog Post Catagory Icons.
  5. Create new header image!!!!

I am sure there is a ton of other items that should be on this list… But this is what I can think of right now, and I think #3 is going to be a major challenge all on its own!

#2 Progress:

  • Sunday – Random
  • Monday- Week in Review
  • Tuesday – League of Extraordinary Bloggers
  • Wednesday – Comic Strip
  • Thursday – Retro – League of Extraordinary Bloggers
  • Friday – Comics of the Week
